Take-a-lot only shuffles boxes. They know nothing about computers.
I am extremely disappointed. I bought a 2-in-1 laptop for school. We unpacked it on 2 Dec 2019 and noticed the screen flashes bright lights continuously. I went online to my order and clicked on "return". They picked up the device on 3 Dec 2019. Whilst unpacking, my son started setting up the laptop and entered a password. Take-a-lot rep**** that I wasn't supposed to return a device with a password. My question is "don't you have people on your floor at the returns warehouse that knows how to override a password?" Apparently not. The e-mails from take-a-lot are cryptic. They told me my return has been rejected. I don't have the laptop. It is at their warehouse and I am R 5000 poorer. The call center agents are super rude. You can never speak to a manager. All issues are communicated via e-mail. There is no feedback that my issue had been escalated. Anyway, I probably could have supported Take-a-lot in the future (quite a bit), but this has put me off for life. NEVER again. Despicable after sale service and support. You have been warned!! It is a distribution center. They know nothing about the products they sell. It is just a bunch of admin people shuffling boxes around. There is no intelligence on that side and they certainly don't try and reach out to the customer or go the extra mile.
