Take a LOT, but do your homework :)

I purchase on Takealot quite often and their ordering/delivery process is always good, however, the pricing structure leaves a lot of room for improvement. I bought a bottle of Jack Daniels for R289 not too long ago. Now the same bottle is being sold for R608, a 210% increase, despite being readily available at many liquor stores for under R300. Some of their pricing is way off when compared to other retailers. Hot Wheels Monster truck is more than 35% higher than other retailers - R380 vs R199. Alva Gas is 3 times the price as other major retailers, R120 vs R40. This has prompted me to approach Takealot shopping with more caution as the pricing in some cases overshadows the convenience.
