Take-a-lot appalling customer care

I bought the Jack Brown 5-star hotel quality goose feather. The feathers were coming off every night ( more than 4 feathers each night). I submitted a motion to return this item and was told that the 6 month warranty is held directly with the manufacturer. I asked for the contact details of the manufacturer and was given wrong information on more than 2 occasions. I had already packed this duvet away awaiting the return ofcourse and I put it back on for one night just to take pictures and showcase my issue. Takealot is now ignoring me and not answering my emails.
