Takalot.com False Advertising

False advertising.

I bought a stroller from Takealot , when I recieved the stroller it was not as advertised. It was an old model without the features that they advertised that it had.

They advertise the picture and features that the new one has . When you buy something you expect to recieve what was advertised? I sent them a mail where I stipulated that they were false advertising this product for months , Ive done my research on the stroller hence the reason I saved up money to buy it .

After sending then many emails , the only answer they could give me is that it was the suppliers fault ? I then asked them if they if check the product before selling them , it only makes sense to know what you are selling and advertise accordingly.

I told them that I wanted what they advertised , I dont care where and how they get it or give me the full value of the stroller (R8000.00) so I can go to the store and buy it . I did buy it ons discount but I still feel it doesn’t matter what you pay for a product they must give what they advertise !

They keep on blaming the supplier and only offered to give me my money back ?

I then just wanted to get my money back as soon as possible as I was without and still without a stroller and have to carry my baby around everywhere I go . This has now been going on for almost 3 weeks .

When I requested my money be paid immediately they said it will only be available in 5-7 working day . Its been a month that im without a stroller and they are so inconsiderate !!!

No matter how many times you email them they still reply like robots !

Talking to them is like talking to a wall or robots !!

I would love to take this further!!

I told them that I will take this to the consumer act and still no response .

Just that they will give me my money back and that will also take 2 weeks !!
