Takalot was great but service and stock is dwindling of late

Overall, the items we have ordered and received from Takealot are great and the convenience is wonderful. However, recently, they have provided a delivery date - then cancelled part of the order due to no stock. Then proceeded to provide a further delivery date for the rest of the order, then again cancelled part of the order due to NO STOCK. Surely, they should not be advertising goods as "in stock" when in fact they are "out of stock" or cannot even be sourced any longer. The recent service has been highly disappointing and now we find ourselves rather ordering from Amazon.com We receive our goods all the way from another country quicker than from Takealot these days, who is in the same suburb as we are. Looking forward to Amazon arriving in South Africa as they seem to always have stock or reflect it accordingly on their website when they do not have stock, BEFORE one places the order.
