Takalot and their miss leading product titles and descriptions.

I have on numerous occasions have contacted Takealot about this. They have rep**** to me, but just once. That their marketing team would contact me, this was last year November 2016. Still no contact from them. So I have decided to go public.

This above is advertised as a 4k gaming monitor, why is this incorrect? -It has the pixel width of a 4k , but the height of 1080. So it's just a super ultra wide 1080p monitor -And it's FreeSync. So unless you have an AMD GPU, it's not gonna be as good

So why are you miss leading your consumers into buying a product that is probably not for them? I understand that there is this "It is what our suppliers provide us". My argument is, why do you not have a checklist of what information a seller needs to supply depending on the product type. Such as a chair: What information do you need from a chair? 1) Seat height: 2) Brand Name 3) Model 4) Chair height from the base of the chair leg to the top of the backrest 5) What is the product made of. 6)Care instructions.

I should not have to contact support to find out information for your customer service to turn around and say "Sorry, that is all the supplier provided us with" this should be done before the item is listed on the store.

So back to the "Gaming monitor" This you have falsely advertised and miss lead the consumers into purchasing your product which is a clear violation of the consumer protection act. I am hold you to responsibility to rectify this and to honor our rights as consumers.
