Tablet still under warranty but no service!
I have bought a Mecer tablet from TakeAlot for my wife only 8 month's ago. The unit's charge point have become dysfunctional. Mecer and TakeAlot claims the unit has been dropped and now the warranty is nul and void. However, the unit is in perfectly mint condition, with protective screen guard and not even a hint of a scratch or a chip, as we really do care for it with our lives. We have just been told, regardless of what we say, their assessment is that the unit has been dropped and that is why the charge point won't work...<br> <br> And the last email from TakeAlot's so called customer service agent is basically a right \**** you"in my face as he tells me \""there's only so much I can do with regards to your request.\""<br> """
We're sorry for the disappointing experience, but the great news is a replacement order has already been created for you on the 20th of February and the item's definitely not been rejected. We're busy looking into the correspondence you've received to see where the miscommunication happened and apologise once again for the unnecessary stress caused.
Cawyn from our complaints team is looking into this and has tried contacting you to confirm the replacement. She'll try again a bit later to clarify the matter.
Sincerely,
