Super Slow Delivery compared to Amazon

I am writing this out of frustration with how long a delivery takes via Takealot. I did an experiment with the same product - PC Memory. It is quicker to order a product from the US to SA than it is to order something via Takealot. On my order with Takealot - they estimate 2 weeks for delivery. On Amazon for the same product they estimate 3 days to my door. Can anyone tell me why? Is it just pure incompetence or laziness or just uselessness? The stock on Takealot says it is in Jhb which is literally not even 50km from my house - but my order from the USA will arrive first?? Maybe I am missing something - but by my logic the company that is in SA should arrive first? Also - there is no direct contact details on Takealots website - I don't think they want to speak to their clients.
