Sudden Price Increase
Ive purchased a number of console games on Takealot and had identified another game that I was planning to purchase. I reviewed the options over several days and had spent quite some time in making a purchase decision. I saved the game into my wish list so that I could make the purchase the next day (27th my companies pay day). Unfortunately the price had suddenly jumped by nearly R100 and it wasn't a daily deal or anything. I immediately contacted Takealot to find out if I could purchase at the previous days price. They unfortunately said that I could not! I know that prices do gradually increase over time, but come on Takealot these are not share prices!

We understand your disappointment by missing out on the game at the lower price. Our prices are however subject to change. Adding an item to your Wishlist does not secure it at a specific price. The item will only be secured at the specific price upon completion of checkout. We will however gladly check with our buyer if we're still able to provide the game at the lower price and will be in touch with you as soon as we've received feedback.
