Stocks not available

I have ordered a opulse oxymeter TWICE and both times long after the expected delivery date, the order was cancelled because Takealot could no longer get stock from their supplier. I think this is very amateurish. Id at the time of ordering, the supplier does not have stock, they should not show the item. Takealot obviously do not enforce standards of doing business on some suppliers and in opinion, such suppliers should be kicked out.
