I may sound unreasonable but i am extremely disappointed. I bought a pair of shoes for my boyfriend for Christmas on takealot. I ordered them and when i received them they were too big so i logged a return/exchange the same day on the website asking for one size smaller. I looked on the website and they had stock for a size 9. They SMSed me and said they had scheduled collection on Friday last week, i waited and waited. Nothing happened, i called Mr D And the guy was so rude to me, none the less they rescheduled for pick up on Wednesday and they told me they have already sent my smaller size i can expect it soon. I called today, more than a week later to follow up and they informed me that they do not have a smaller size, they sorry they will credit my account. Not happy i agreed as these things happen so i thought, and went on to order the next best thing i could find, while checking out they stopped me to tell me they no longer have the stock in the second pair of shoes i wanted! This is absolutely ridiculous! They now no longer have decent, nice shoes in that size. I am so disappointed in this i will not recommend takealot if this is the case.
We understand your disappointment by not being able to exchange your initial purchase for a smaller size. Fashion and Sportswear products can be exchanged for a different size or colour variation, provided that such variation is available. Sadly we no longer have stock for this particular style in the size you required therefore an exchange was not possible. It's unfortunate that the second pair also sold out before you could complete your purchase as we would have loved for you to find a suitable alternative for your intended gift.
The majority of our fashion and sportswear products are stocked seasonally, once or twice a year. When our new ranges come in we do hope that you'll find something to your liking.
