Still no delivery.
My order with all kitchenware for a first apartment was ordered and fully paid in advance, with a specific delivery date and every item in store in cape town. Every single day, the delivery has been scheduled, during at 12-14-hr window. Every single day, we have waited, Every single day, Takealot reschedule the delivery - at the end of the day, when there is no time to make another plan. As of today, the R13k order has not been delivered, and no plan other than a rescheduled date for next week. And no refund. And their staff are not polite.

07 Feb 2024, 11:17Update: With yet another rescheduled delivery date, we realised they are never delivering this order. When the order was cancelled, they advised they will refund in 5 -10 days.
The person who ordered has no ability to replace the items until the refund is received.
Wow, I now see their business model. Use customers' money to earn interest for a few weeks and with no cost and no obligation. Be aware, customers, be very aware.
