*****ing my credits and false advertising.

For the third time now I have ordered, received and returned a 50 watt led spotlight from Takealot, only to find the item is not even close to as pictured or described on their site. I have been told the correct one has been ordered.

OK. Then, for the second time I have received the account credited email but not received the credits. The first time an intellectual employee resolved the matter amicably. This time however, the employee in question simply saw I made a purchase with existing credits and ASSUMED I had used the credits and they had credited my account. I always had R832 credits in my account. If she could do basic math and look at my credit history she would have picked up that the R249 was not credited.

On the 23rd August I had R832 credits. On the 23rd, I made a purchase for R238. That left me with R594. Then on the 24th I received the email saying my account was credited for R249. This should have left me with R843, but no, it remained R594. On the 25th I made a purchase of R475, and I am left with R119. R843 minus R475 DOES NOT equal R119. R843 minus R475 equals R368. R368 minus my R119 credits equals the R249 Takealot is attempting to swindle from me.

I am going to report the false advertising to the ASA, that is for sure. Should I not have my credits app**** though, I will seek legal advice and report to the National Consumer Commission.
