STAY AWAY FROM TAKEALOT.COM

Takealot is INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL. If you value your hard-earned money, make sure that you STAY AWAY from the website. I purchased a Cadac Gas Stove and it was delivered damaged. The box was dented/squashed and I even took pictures of the box and the stove. Please note that I did not even remove the stove from its plastic covering. I asked for a replacement and I wanted them to come and pick it up during the weekend. The website is not user-friendly as it boasts about a "rescheduling" option being offered, however there was no such thing on my side. I then sent an email and they came to pick it up on a Saturday. The driver was incredibly rude if I must mention. A week passes and then they tell me that my product will not be replaced as it is "user damaged", however, I didn't even remove it from its packaging, so how could I have damaged it? I have photos of proof which have a time stamp of when the pictures were taken and also the day the stove was delivered. This is absolutely unprofessional as I used my hard-earned money to purchase the stove. I am incredibly disappointed and I will never be shopping at Takealot again. It is only a matter of time until they act unprofessional towards all their customers as they know that it is an online store and they can hide behind computers.
