Sold a laptop knowing it's faulty
CF I RRN-SVGRJ-X469 I I bought a laptop in December 2023, school term started in March 2024. This laptop had battery issues and (thought it will be expensive but would not be a problem to fix). 2nd semester, some of the keyboard keys delayed responding & some were non-responsive at all. I wrote to Takealot & no reply. I had to connect an external keyboard to write my October exams & returned it as soon as exams were done. Want my full refund as I discovered someone already wrote a review about troublesome battery before my purchase. During Black Friday special, I bought a new laptop given I cannot go through the frustration again.
Now Takealot claims the laptop is fixed & want to deliver it. My question to them is, seeing that they acted in mala fide the first time when selling me something they knew was faulty. How are they expecting me to take it back especially now that its out of warranty? They want to deliver it despite me telling them, I am not at my address and the matter is referred to Scorpion.
Takealot continues to send me e-mails insisting on my physical address... someone please inform them "once the matter is referred to legal, Takealot cannot continue sending me e-mails about the same thing".
