sitting around like an idiot waiting for takealot to fetch a fetch a parcel I never ordered

I've been ordering from takealot since 2015 and have never had any problems with them until now. They wrongfully sent me an additional item with one of my orders which I collected at the Bloemfontein pick up site on 20 March 2021. I immediately contacted them and was told that they would have to log a return but since it was an additional item, I would not be able to take it to the pick up point for them to collect as it would not have a tracking number. I requested that the collection be scheduled for Friday 26 March 2021 however the driver pitched at my house on Wednesday 24 March 2021 when no one was at home. The exact reason why I requested they collect on Friday. I sent an email through on Friday to takealot and was informed by Siyamthanda Mathayi that collection is indeed scheduled for that same day before close of business. I sat at home all day like an idiot waiting for a courier that never pitched. I then called in on Friday night and was advised that an email which I never received was sent to say that collection would not be taking place on Friday. I then requested that they come and collect the item today (Tuesday 30 March 2021) as this would be the only day this week that someone would be at home and yet again the courier pitched on a day of their choosing which was yesterday Monday 29 March 2021. I once again called in and spoke to a Mariska Mabee who assured that the consultant I spoke to on Friday did indeed request for collection for today and apologized most profusely and once again reassured that the courier will come collect the parcel today. Yet again I sat at home like an idiot waiting for the couriers. This is absolutely disgusting and inconveniencing me and my family who have to stay at home and work around couriers that never come when we could be doing our own things and running our own errands. This better be rectified ASAP
