Shoes purchased are too small and cannot be returned because they were tried on.

Ordered a pair of shoes (size 10) Advertised as 'Shado'. Shoes came and a sticker with 'Shado' was stuck over the actual brand.

I put the shoes on. Walked around with them for a little (not even an hour). They were too small. I took them off. I requested a refund paid to my takealot account so i could spend a bit more money and get some better shoes.

Takealot refused to give me my deposit back saying the the product was used.

How do you know if the item is too small without putting it on/using it?

I have been buying from Takealot for a few years. This is unacceptable. Will rather go to Amazon now.
