Shoddy cheap products and disappointing customer service

I received my order on the 3pc Tuff suitcase from Take a lot on 4 sep 2018. I used my suitcase's for the first time on 29 March 2019 whereupon the handle on the largest bag broke apart. After contacting take a lot on my return from holiday on 31st March, I was told that they couldn't do anything as it fell outside their warranty period but not even a month. I provided pic's to validate my claim that the bags were brand new and this was a result of shoddy workman's and/or cheap parts. They refused to do anything. I'm deeply disappointed in their response as I hv been a loyal customer for a good many years now.
