Shocking turnaround time by Takealot

I placed an order with Takealot for Christmas gifts on the 7th of December. I picked the earliest delivery date, which was scheduled for the 17th of December. At 14:30 on the 17th I get an email so say my parcel was lost, after waiting 10 days already!!

Absolute horrible turnaround time and now I have to possibly go buy alternate last minute gifts.

Truly makes me think of never using this online platform again, rather just go buy it in store!
