SHOCKING TAKEALOT SERVICE

Absolutely Shocking experience with takealot. I ordered a George & Mason outdoor set for my 81 year old mother who lives in Cape Town. It arrived the first time incomplete - I organised a return and they delivered a new set. We organised a handyman to assemble for my mother. He assembled the sofa and 2 chairs and when they opened the box for the table the glass was shattered. I contacted takealot again and organised another return. Takealot arrived and then told my mother she had to disassemble the chairs and sofa and plastic wrap it else they would not take the broken glass tabletop. Numerous emails later explaining that under no circumstances could my 81 year old mother disassemble furniture they collected the broken table of the set. I emailed/messaged tried everything to get some feedback from takealot. Eventually today they delivered back the BROKEN glass tabletop because she didn’t disassemble the whole set for the return. No one ever contacts you - you never get clarity. The service is DISGUSTING! Customer service is non-existent. Takealot are you discriminating against senior citizens because this has just been extremely stressful for my elderly mother!!!
