Shocking Service from Takealot - are they now too busy to care about customer's complaints?

Shocking service. A friend ordered a pack of 2x Mellerware Rechargeable Hot Water Bottles on 28 May 2020 as a gift for me. I received a pack of 1x only on 10 June 2020. Since then we've both been trying without success to get this incorrect delivery rectified. Countless calls, online complaints and emails and still no luck. A rude email from Marketplace Jethro Collison saying "Go read the description in this product its not a 2 pack". The items are no longer on the website. The single item was half the price. Still waiting for Sikelwa to escalate the complaint. Nobody answering calls today - directed to complaints website which doesn't respond.
