Shocking service and product not working and damaged

My first bad experience with Takealot was about 10 days ago. Takealot finally delivered a package to my parent in East London on the 6th attempt, claiming no one was home. My parents have not left home since lock down! Albeit me triple checking that they had the correct cell phone number it turns out they did not. Seems that me putting the correct number on the order does not override a number on their system from 5 years ago! I was able to move on from here so I ordered a Father's Day present for my father - a Telefunkun radio. The radio arrived yesterday - the outer box was damaged, the seal had been removed, the radio does not work at all, the frequency needle droops down, the flap of the battery cover is broken, the electrical cord was simply bundled together and shoved into the battery area! How can you in good faith Takealot sell a broken and damaged radio. I have requested a pick up and a refund. But now no Father's Day present. SHAME ON YOU Takealot. Order #***3
