Shocking delivery timelines and lack of customer service

Absolutely shocking service from Takealot. They changed my delivery date with no sms or email warning - I had to check on the app to confirm delivery. I confirmed the delivery to be at a certain location on the original expected delivery date. Now, no-one will be at the address on the new delivery date. I then waited 15 minutes to get through to the call centre where they proceeded to tell me that whilst the goods are in transit - there is NO way to cancel goods ordered OR to change the delivery address.

What is the point of ordering online when it takes so much longer and the service is possibly the worst that I have ever experienced?
