Ships Inferior Products and Then Hides From It's Customers

I bought a washing machine off of takealot. when it arrived, the pipes they provided to connect it up were effectively useless. Far too weak to handle the water pressure, and with no conceivable way to actually secure them properly. I tried to log a return, but as it only came with a manufacturer warranty, it would not let me log a return. this is despite the product page clearly stating that takealot would provide hassle-free returns within 30 days for any reason. I tried to get in touch with takealot using their contact form in the help center, but I never received a reply or even an acknowledgement to this email, I sent over a dozen more to receive no answer whatsoever. The contact form also provided no reference number or even any proof that the message had been sent at all.

Despite trying everything I can think of, I have not managed to receive a single communication from this business in any way shape or form. They have simply ignored me. they seem to think that they can ignore customers and get away with it. What a godawful **** customer service experience. even calling it a customer service experience is generous given that there has been no customer service at all.
