shameful returns process and customer service.

What a shameful returns process and customer service. I purchased a Everlast gym bench that turned out what seemed to be a refurb unit. There wasn't even bolts to put the thing together, no barebell and no userguide to name a few of what was missing.

I promptly called takealot who promised collection within 24hrs. Its been longer 48hrs and no responses to my emails. The call center has generic reponses and can't assist saying that it should've been collected, but the warehouse department is dealing with it. Can't speak to the warehouse department and they are not responding to my emails. Infuriated!

When there are no issues with the product, everything works well and I have purchased loads through takealot. BUT I've learned my lesson... Rather go to Makro in future. Easy returns, no headaches and waiting weeks to get a replacement or money back.

What a letdown takealot.

Btw, very tactfully allow reviews of products to only go through after 7days.
