Shame on Takealot for price gouging

So I sent this messaget to Takealot - basically price-gouging I've been looking for this whiskey - Johnnie Walker - Song of Ice - for ages. Amazingly, at Takealot it's R799 when in stock (21/12/21 - I took a screenshot) and yet today, when out of stock it's only R259 (22/12/21 - another screenshot) So that doesn't seem right? Right Takealot? a 300% price change in 1 dayfor an item? I'm a longtime buyer but this is just really disappointing

After a lot of back and forth with several customer service folks, I got this mail: Hi Cyd I hope this email finds you well. I am truly sorry for the bad experience. Kindly be informed that we regrettably can’t say when an item will go on sale, but please do keep an eye on the website. And you can add the item to your wish list and you will be updated as soon as it gets discounted. This is not the level of service we provide to our customers, as the experience needs to be great from start to end. I do apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused, Thank you for your business and support. Have a beautiful day ahead.

Of course, the item is in my damn wish list. Why do you think I get the price change notifications.

I rep**** with: I'm sorry but going from R259 when not in stock to R799 when in stock- 1 day apart - is simply price gouging and shocking business practice. I've supported your site for many years and spent a lot of money. This kind of repose is not acceptable.

And their final reply? Exactly the same as above.

Even when out of stock (at R259) the RRP is R455 not R799 when stock comes in.

Shame on you for price gouging and blaming the supplier
