Selling second hand Items

So I brought a Straightner for Takalot as gift for someone. Opened the boks the items boks was ripped and damaged, the product is scratch and used. As I called to complain they just tell me I can return it and they will speak to the supplier. In the same sentence the representative tells me Takealot does not open any items ot must be sealed, my boks wasn't sealed. Highly disappointed in Takealot and know I have to try and make a plan for a new gift.
