Selling poor quality Products.

I bought a kettle used it for 3 days at the bottom it started rusting and at the bottom it had a silver lining made of plastic water was leaking down there, so I returned it. Now they rejecting my return saying that I used it how was I going to see if the product was of poor quality without using it? I can't drink tea from a rusty kettle which is few days old. I believe everything has a guarantee or warranty. That thing made of very poor poor poor materials. They must change it or return my money. That's day light *******.
