Selling free Ebook

I purchased a couple of e-books one day before the Kalahari merge happened. One of the ebooks I read a week ago turned out to be a a prequel to a book, so it let on to another story which had to be purchased. However not only was it a prequel but it was a free book which is easily available on the authors sight, exactly as I bought it. I called the ebook division as soon as I realised what was happening. The consultant then assured me that they would sort it our asap. I then followed up with another call & still the matter was being attended to, apologising profusely. The value of the book was R16.00 on special no indication that it was a a prequel,

Today I got the following response:
Good Day,Although this was a few days before the merge, [URL Removed] and [URL Removed] were still run as individual entities with it's own individual suppliers. As I have stated, we have refunded the amount that you paid back to your [URL Removed] profile for the eBook that you downloaded and read. We unfortunately cannot exchange the eBook as there was no initial error with the eBook being downloaded. You are however free to use the credit against ordering the eBook

How convieient,what a joke
