Same day delivery-yea right

Takealot's customer service department is the most useless department I have ever interacted with. I asked a customer service rep to provide the driver with an alternative number to contact me on as my regular contact number was out of service. The rep confirmed that she had left the alternative contact number for the driver. Later on during the day I see that the driver has rescheduled my delivery because he could not reach me. I received no calls on my alternative number, so he probably did not receive the note from the customer service rep to contact me on the alternative number.

What is the customer service rep's response to my problem? She tells me they are going to refund my R120 same day delivery fee. HOW DOES THIS SOLVE MY PROBLEM?! This is the very reason why Takealot will NEVER get to Amazon's level.
