Salon Grade 2-in-1 Professional Hair Dryer

I am not sure whether Takealot needs to take all the blame, but they sold a Salon Grade 2-in-1 Professional Hair Dryer to us. One day it just stopped working and the diffuser was melted. According to them (or their supplier) it was misused or abused, while the person who used it was a highly professional person, with excellent character. The person was drying her hair while it happened. The hair dryer was barely about 3 months old. We buy from Takelot regularly. Surely we should be refunded in this case? The hair dryer is not on their website any more (my guess is as they had a lot of complaints about it). It was not a cheap product, so we are extremely disappointed. They keep shipping the product back to us, which is even more irritating.
