Sale Items - Refund rather that replace - Games played by Take-a-lot

I recently returned an item that was on sale. It failed within 2 months. I returned to Take-a-Lot and requested replacement. They refunded me, saying they are out of stock, yet same item is sold on the Web Site. Now I must pay double for same item. This is not the first time this has happened to me.

Surely if Take-a-lot poorly select suppliers, then it is not my problem as a consumer !
