Ridiculous Return Policy & Service

I bought a really good Wilson Tennis Racket (BLX ProStaff 100L) on 10 December 2016. I played several times with this racket until the 18th January 2017, when I hit a normal backhand shot and the racket cracks completely at the top. I send it back to be returned after which I get the following message: “There is visible user damage to your item which voids the warranty”. They imply because there is one or two little scratches (from normal use) that this is the reason for the racket to break, as oppose to a faulty product it clearly is. Their policy is ridiculous as they indirectly imply that I must have smashed my racket. It states that they do not return products if:

"· faults resulting from normal wear and tear;

· damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;

· damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;

· damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;

· damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product;"

I have never had a racket that has broken like this; in fact I have another, much cheaper Wilson, with incredible wear without any problems for the last 6 years.
