Reviews trustworthy?

I've ordered quite a few stuff from takealot.com and I've never had major hassles, but the other day I posted an honest review about a stick blender explaining that it's plug is not a south African type m and I had to spend a further R150 to purchase an adapter to type d. My whole review was cut short to the first sentence saying that "at first glance it looked like good quality". In my opinion that is misleading. What is the point of giving product reviews if you're just going to twist my words to make the product sound better?
