21 Aug 2026, 11:33I ordered something Thursday, early evening, and realised, within seconds NOT minutes, that I'd made an error and so I quickly canceled...delivery date was scheduled for the MONDAY. I was told item already in packaging and delivery so cancelation/refund process will be 3 to 5 days!!!!! If so why delivery only Monday? Even a phone call with manager changes nothing.
I have done this exact thing with Temu and within seconds cancelation and refund done!
Same thing happened with Takealotmore...if you join and cancel then a month later their system again offers you free join but instead remove R99 from your account. If within SECONDS you phone to cancel they refuse saying you've benefited. Im sure this is a contravention of SA Consumer Laws.
So me, I say, unless really desperate, use another company.
I have done this exact thing with Temu and within seconds cancelation and refund done!
