Returns waste of time

Ordered 8x keychain lights, 2 switches were brokken on arrival. I sent them back straight away. Then im told that I have to send the working lights back as well before they can evaluate the claim. Go to the drop off point today with remaining working lights and see its rejected... I have emailed returns about 5x trying to sort it out, only to get a different person emailing back everytime.
