Returns too much to handle?
Not a pleasant experience and still the reason I prefer other online shops. I decided to have an order cancelled and was told to reject it once it got delivered. Mr Delivery came & after a hassle we got the parcel rejected to be sent back to the warehouse. I then sent an email confirming rejection- I then had to log the return online. Been waiting for response and eventually phoned yesterday (7th) to check on the status of this parcel. ***aat told me she'd get back to me. Phoned back later the afternoon as there was no response. Ayisha told me she'd give ***aat the message.<br> Great, Tuesday (8th) I phoned again as I haven't heard anything- Melissa tells me that the package will be collected from the courier only today. A week later. This is unacceptable. Don't have items returnable if this is the service you are going to expect. Mr. Delivery also needs to up their game as this is not on.<br> Will not be recommending takealot to anyone at all.
You are entitled to cancel your order prior to the point at which it is shipped for delivery. Should you wish to cancel your order thereafter you can do so in accordance with our returns policy by logging a return on your takealot account. Returned products could take 2-5 business days to reach our warehouse. Once received, your return request will be processed within 1-3 business days. Thereafter, your account will be credited, unless you requested a replacement or an exchange.
The agents who initially assisted you should have advised you to log a return for the item immediately or even assisted you in logging it when you first queried the cancellation. Had this been done your return's processing would have started sooner instead of 2 days later.
Our complaints team will address this with the agents in question. They'll also be in touch with you shortly to go over our returns policy and they'll make sure that it is processed as quickly as possible.
