Returns take forever

So far purchasing from Takealot you recieve great service, however I have returned an item to be replaced on the 1st of December 2023. It arrived at the supplier evaluation centre on the 4th of December 2023.

On the 14th of December I recieve an email stating my item has been replaced by the supplier.

On the 20th of December I recieve an email stating my item is enroute from the supplier to the warehouse then to be delivered to me.

After quering why it takes so long I was just apologized to for the inconvenience and will be notified when the item gets to the warehouse.

Today 28th of December I recieve another email that my item is enroute from the supplier to the warehouse. 8 days later the same item is still enroute to the warehouse. It would be quicker just to buy another item and have it sent.

28 days later I still have not recieved my replacement and am giving up hope on recording recieving it any time soon. When I check my tracking the last update was that the item was recieved at the supplier evaluation facility (4th of December 2023) but I am being sent emails that my product has been replaced and is enroute from the supplier.

I feel my intelligence is being insulted as my product took 3 days to get to the supplier evaluation centre however since I was notified my item will be replaced (14 December). 14 days later I still haven't recieved anything
