Returns policy dysfunctional and useless

Tried to return a defective product; the seat of 1 of 4 chairs was torn. It has now been 1 month and after at least 2 cumulative hours of phone calls and 20 emails, I have had 3 filthy chairs returned to me together with the original torn seat of the 4th chair - no legs for that chair. The problem will be escalated for the third time. I am not optimistic that it will be resolved. No other recourse beyond talking to helpful customer support staff whose hands are tied by internal policies. Will NOT buy from or recommend Takealot anymore after this experience, even if it gets resolved.
