Returns not excepted immediately after pickup

Can someone from Takealot, please explain to me why when you log a return inside the pickup point, they cannot keep the item at that moment. I have to leave the pickup point and wait for an email, then only I can return the item again, and then come back again at a later time to pick up the correct item ordered. There is no consideration for customers that have to ride up and down, when the problem was actually created by the Takealot staff. I had to return items twice in one week. *****n bad service.
