Returns and electronic products

The product I ordered has a direct warranty but due to Takealot selling a product from the US/Canada the warranty does not apply in SA. Takealot agreed on the product being returned yet it has been 19 days since the product has been returned and due to the lockdown it will probably be even longer that I await feedback on what will happen regarding my product. Every time I call the call center I get the same reply that they will escalate the problem because no one knows where my product is. This problem has been escalated now for 19 days and counting. Be very cautious when buying electronics from Takealot.
