Returned Item with No Refund.

I strongly urge people to stop buying online on takealot. I bought a smart watch this month January 2024. I received it on the 16th Jan and realise that it is not the colour that I have ordered for someone's birthday as a surprise. I placed a return for my refund online via takealot website same day and it was confirmed to be collected on the 17th Jan. Indeed the lady came fetched it with all accessories intact (exactly how I found it) the lady checked it and took it. Few days later I'm puzzled why my refund takes long and I send email to takealot. Takelot rep**** by saying warehouse is saying there are missing items(accessories like, 1 - earphone case 2- wireless earphones 3- lighting cable Luckly i took a picture of a smart watch in a box with everything contained in it so I rep**** with attached picture of how I returned the smart watch.

Lesson1: Never ever trust people who sells online especially takelaot even when returning the item. Lesson2: Note that takealot and it's supplies are untrust worthy. All they want is your money not both parties to be satisfied/happy. Lesson3: it's easy for takealot & its supliers to manipulate the situation and take advantage of the customer. Lesson4: The incident shows you how greedy is takelot and its supplies.

Conclusion: Rather go to the shop and buy what you see in person.
