Returned item not the item returned by me

I recently returned earbuds to Takealot as the one (right side) did not work. However they declined my return and said the item purchased was not the one returned. The courier was arranged by Takealot and when they collected the item a picture was taken, which I requested Takealot to obtain from the courier company (as Takealot arranged the courier I could not obtain the picture myself), this picture will proof that the item that Takealot returned to me after declining the return is not the same item, however Takealot is very unhelpful in trying to resolve this matter and have returned a piece of garbage to me that I would never in my life have purchased.
