Returned faulty electronic device under warranty sent back to me with no explanation

I purchased Soundcore by Anker Life Note 3i Earbuds. After 2.5 months the left earbud packed in. We tried everything but it would not connect to any device. Nor would it charge. I returned to Takealot MRRN-D7X4M-ERP4 requesting a refund.

Two weeks later I receive the Earbuds back - the same pair. No explanation, no repair, no refund. I have emailed customer service. Crickets.

If Takealot will not honor warrantees for electronic goods they can be sure they will very rapidly lose market share..

Shocking service. And zero explanation.
