Returned, but refunded a lot less than what was paid

Don’t know what’s happened to Takealot in the last month. I used to get such amazing service and no issues with returns and refunds but in the last month I have been refunded less than what I paid on two occasions and requested an item to be replaced as it was incomplete only to have the same incomplete item re-delivered. Why do o now need to fight to get money back when I’ve returned an item the day after I received it? How can you refund less than what was paid when the item it is the same packaging as when received? How am I supposed to get a better item then the incomplete one if you don’t refund what I have paid? Takealot - you’re letting us down.
