Return won't be refunded but it was Takealots fault

I bought 3 Medal paint tins and returned one. All 3 had damage and dents when I recieved them. I returned one because it was the wrong colour. Takealot said they won't refund me because the paint tin is damaged. I never damaged it so that's hugely unfair. I have sent many emails to Debbie the agent that contacted me and she is not responding but just ignoring me.
