Return rejection for unused item

I’ve recently bought a pressure cooker with takealot worth R2000, lt was delivered on the 5th. Then I unboxed it on the 13th of Jan. I’ve never used the item, as it still has tapes around it. Takealot is rejecting the return. Now what must I do with the item that has a dent? Surely they can have it repaired at least. I don’t even know why it was rejected.
