Return rejected for no valid reason - Takealot is ****ming customers

I purchased a night splint for my foot injury for almost R1000. The splint arrived, it was huge and not fit for purpose. It could not serve as a splint because it was too big, loose and flimsy. I returned the item to takealot. They rejected the return. The first customer service agent said it was because the reason I put is that I didn't want it. This was not the truth, I had the return open infront of me and the reason for return was that there was an issue with the quality of the product. The second customer service agent said it was because had been worn and used. I couldn't even use that boot on my fractured foot if i wanted to. Besides that you can also see from the photos the item has never been used.
