Return rejected and money kept by TakeAlot.com

I returned an item to Takealot.com within 30 day (within policy). Return was rejected because I was told that damaged or missing parts should be returned within 7 days. I logged a return for product not as advertised. Now I do not have product or credit on my account. I have responded to the Takealot team but weeks later no answer . What happened to my money??
