Return policy - unfair treatment

I bought two chairs from takealot that were uncomfortable and too small for my needs. Upon returning them I was told they were declined due to their condition. One of the chairs was still in the box, the other one was disassembled with just the bottom part intact. They refused to give me back my money for both chairs. This behaviour is unacceptable.
